Fine Young Cannibals, es un grupo musical británico, formado en Birmingham, en el año 1984; son de estilo musical Rock y Soul. El grupo se formó en 1984 en Birmingham, Reino Unido, al disolverse un grupo de cierto éxito llamado The Beat, dos de sus integrantes llamados Cox y Steele deciden emprender esta nueva aventura musical. El "album debut" de la banda vio la luz en 1985, de él se extrajeron dos singles, que funcionaron muy bien en el Reino Unido, "Johnny Come Home" y un cover de Elvis Presley "Suspicious Minds" en el que participo con su peculiar voz Jimmy Somerville.
Fine Young Caníbals apareció en la comedia Tin Men, en un club nocturno en 1987 , puesta en escena en Baltimore, Maryland en 1963. Cox y Steele publicaron un instrumental Casa sola en el marco del moniker dos hombres, una caja de ritmos y una trompeta en 1988, denominado "Tired Of Getting Pushed Around", que alcanzó el # 18 en el Reino Unido Singles Chart y fue popular en los EE.UU. danza gráfico. Sus integrantes fueron : Roland Gift en la voz, David Steele en guitarra y Andy Cox en el bajo.
Sus éxitos más importantes en Europa y en los charts de Estados Unidos, Johnny Come Home, She Drives Me Crazy, Good Thing y Don't Look Back.
Se separaron en 1992, y Roland Gift sigue su carrera profesional como actor.
