Army of Lovers, grupo sueco pop, formado en 1987 por el compositor y productor Alexander Bard que reclutó al peluquero Jean-Pierre Barda, Yazmina Chantal y a la modelo Camilla Henemark para crear un grupo exagerado y extravagante.
Sus dos primeros singles, “When the Night Is Cold” y “Love Me Like a Loaded Gun” se editaron en 1988. En 1991, el grupo lanzó el LP “Massive Luxury Overdose” que se convirtió en su gran éxito gracias sobre todo a los singles “Crucified” y “Obsession”.
