De La Banda Sonora Original: CON FALDAS Y A LO LOCO.1959.

A pesar de que Wilder no era muy aficionado a los musicales, sí que decidió incluir en la película algunos inolvidables números interpretados por Marilyn Monroe. La primera canción se titulaba Running Wild, la música era de A.H. Gibas y la letra de Leo Word. Marilyn Monroe la interpreta junto con su okelele en el tren que les lleva a Florida.

El segundo de los temas musicales es el conocidísimo tema I Wanna Be Loved By You, con música de Herbert Stothart y letra de Bert Kalmar. La canción la interpreta Marilyn en el hotel de Florida.

La banda sonora contiene canciones como Amado mio o Put the Blame on Mame, que Rita Hayworth (Gilda) escenifica en playback y cuya voz real corresponde a Anita Ellis.

Al interpretar la segunda de dichas canciones, el personaje de Gilda se quita sensualmente un guante; esta escena causó sensación en su momento y motivó que el filme fuese prohibido en varios países, entre ellos España. En la película, tras dicho striptease se produce otro momento que se hizo igualmente célebre: el personaje de Glenn Ford abofetea a Gilda, si bien previamente ella le había golpeado a él.

La canción fue llevada más tarde, en 1942, a la película Casablanca en la que un fragmento es interpretado por Dooley Wilson en una de las escenas más recordadas de la historia del cine. La melodía de esta canción sirve además como base para la banda sonora de la película. Una reedición de la versión de 1931 hecha por Rudy Vallee se convirtió en un éxito de ventas ese año. Un fragmento de la canción aparece en la secuencia de presentación de las películas de Warner Bros., ya que Casablanca es posiblemente su más famosa película.
