El éxito "Somebody that I used to know", del músico australiano Gotye, se ha convertido, según datos globales de Spotify, en la canción más escuchada de 2012, delante de otros temas como el archiconocido "Call me maybe" de Carly Rae Jepsen, que se sitúa en un merecido segundo puesto. 

Los datos del servicio de música digital, extraídos de 15 millones de sus usuarios, también posicionan en España el tema de Gotye en el top 1, sin embargo, "Rayos de sol" de José de Rico y "Yo te esperaré" de Cali y el Dandee completan el podio, relegando a la canadiense al quinto lugar.
